HI all just found u grate site
Can i just put selver sand in tank with out washing it geting it from seapets .co.uk
allso geting a new juwel tank the rio 180 what thay like tank filter ect ect

All sand needs thoroughly washing to get rid of dust etc. otherwise you will have cloudy water for weeks. Still expect some cloudiness but it will clear.

Juwel tanks are well made (but a little boring IMO) The filters are not that good so I have read here.
