hey so i just started my new osaka a couple of weeks ago and it has a few plants in right now a few swords and i forget the others i just got the red sea turbo co2 bio system and got it running and i just wanted to know in those pictures some of you have how did you get your plants to release those bubles of oxygen it looks to good and could you name some easy to care for ground cover for my tank and some others to fill up the back of my tank

thats called pearling, its a sign photosynthesis is taking place, bubbles can occur shortly after a big water change, or when there is that much oxygen in the water that is forming on every surface, you should have some with c02, dont worry if you dont get it, its not a sign of good growth, your fine without it, but i have noticed during me pumping air into the tank, via a air pump that the plants tend to have some.... check my journal in the planted journal section to see pics
 
All healthy plants will release o2 when they're photosynthesising, although you might not be able to ever see them due to high flow rates and low o2 in the water already.

For foreground plants how about some crypt parva as that's easy as anything. How about some taller crypts like undulata for the background. Take a look at my journal as they're shown more details but here's a quick photo...

Note c parva is on the front at the right.
