Welcome to the forums....

Well, there are many factors that you need to address when buying a new tank setup before you even think about adding fish / Crabs.
When setting up the tank, you need to clean all items you put into it using de-chlorinated water. The water its self need to be de-chlorinated and bought up to the correct temperature.
Once the tank is running, you will need to do a "Fishless cycle" to build up the health bacteria in the filter media so that your tank can process ammonia and nitrite.
You should really read up HERE as this will give you all the information you need.

After reading up, if you have any futher questions feel free to post :)

Good luck with the new tank...

Crabs also need salt water. They will live with out it for a few weeks then die.

I am making a new book on the biorb fish tank and would like to know if any would like to buy it.
