Just running around in space and came across this forum, I just got a few bettas and was wondering some things about them, I raise praying mantis and feeder food for them, fruit flies, house flies, blue bottle flies and the like. The bettas were purchased to keep the fruit flies that escape under control! I throw a house fly in, but they seem to like the fruit flies better! They really like them, I had put out water to keep the room moist and noticed the fruit flies that escaped the cages would go in the water looking for a drink. So that's why I went to the bettas, figured why waste perfectly good flies! So that's why I am here, use to have two 55 gal tanks, but I don't have time for the fish right now, and the bettas are satifiying my fishy needs!
