hi im new to the world of fish keeping and was wandering how i would check the nitrates nitites and ammonia levels in my tank and
what would i use to to do so.

i also needed help on cycling and how to do it. :blush: :blush: :blush:
 
Welcome to the forum.
There are some well written articles on this site for fishless cycling. Actually, if you go to the Beginners Resource Center sticky at the top of this section of the forum, there are lots of useful links there that would be well worth reading through. I have a shortcut in my signature area to fishless cycling called, of all things, fishless cycling. You measure ammonia, nitrites and nitrates using a liquid reagent type test kit. A commonly used one among people here is the API Freshwater Master Test kit. They can be had for fairly cheap on line or for about 50% more at the local fish shop.
