new to breeding guppies

my guppies have given birth to some fry and i want to know how to take care of it.
the first time it had fru they ate them all so i just need to know how to keep the mommy fish away from the baby fish. and i also want to know what to feed the fry

You can either put your fry in a separate tank form the adults, or make sure there are many hiding places if you keep the fry in the same tank as the adults. By hiding places, I mean plenty of plants (either live or fake) and caves.

You can either feed your fry liquid fry food or finely crushed flake food. I feed the flake food: just crush it between your fingers as finely as you can. If you use the liquid fry food, do frequent water cahges and be careful not too overfeed as it may cloud up your water. You should feed the fry 3 times a day. Once the fry are older you can feed them baby brine shrimp.

:D wow thanks people. thats really good advice. but.....all my guppies died a couple of days ago all i have left is 5 guppy fry. i really dont know what happened :( that all got this white slimey thing on them and they all died the next day....
