New Thing I Have Learned About...

I have just cleaned up the tank yesterday afternoon like around 4:30ish because the frys were getting stuck to this slimy stuff and i have no clue what it is. The tank was also full of dead baby brine shrimp on the bottom of the tank...the food i have used for the frys before the baby brine shrimp was the stuff that Attison made...you know the baby powder stuff that is brown...i think that was the cause of the slime...the left over food of Attison's made the food mold and sticky if you leave it in there for a day or two...so yeah...anyways...After getting all of my frys out of the tank, the frys were really stressed outand then i put them back in the tank after cleaning it....most of them dropped down to the bottom and some floated for awhile...then about 2-3 hours later most of them died...i only have about 10 frys that are still living but not swimming...they are on the bottom and still alive...they can swim but its like they forgot how to swim and drop back down to the bottom...this is a lesson to everyone who is breeding right now...

1) Don't be in a hurry to wash your tank because your frys are only about 1-2 weeks old UNLESS you really think that it is necssary to do it

2) Doing this kills a whole tons of your frys!!!

3) I don't recommend the Attison food for your frys...just grow your own baby brine shrimp

I am a breeder for about 2-3 years now but this was the first time that has happened to me...so it won't happen again....i hope...
