Hi guys due to a relationship break down I had to sadly sell my 3.5ft 55gal tank :-(.
But I have now got my replacement all 25 litres of it lol I was going to be getting a Siamese fighter but after aquascaping it I think a fighter would not look right in it I have thought of goin right back to my roots in fish keeping and getting White Cloud Mountain minnows but any options would be great thank you.

Glad you've managed to get another tank albeit much smaller than you've had before - it's looking good and will look even better when the cloudiness settles.
25L isn't really big enough for fish other than a single betta and maybe some shrimp and/or snails

I think it may not be 25 litre more gallon it's taken 2 bags of sand and a medium size filter until I can get a tape measure I can work the true dimensions out but i have a while till it's fully cycled yet lol
The joys of a car boot bargain just lucky the light still works lol

Oh the wonders of Google! lol
Just popped the dimensions into the TFF calculator and it's 45L full to the brim with nothing in it so multiply by a factor of 0.85 for equipment and it will have about 38L for swimming in (which is about 8½ UK Gallons) That gives you a bit more scope for adding fish.

That tank looks wonderful, will be much better when everything settles! May I ask why you think it doesn't look right for a betta? I think one would be very happy in there.
If you don't want one though then perhaps some micro fish like mosquito rasbora? Depending on the dimensions of course, which I can't find as I'm terrible at using google. >.<

Looks like a great start OP. Now go out and find someone who loves fish so you can have a big tank again.

Cheers all ninjouzata I don't think it's the right kind of biotope for a betta in my opinion I've always had them in quite heavily planted tanks this I feel is too open for them.
Xzavier247 that's a good idea lol best start looking again soon when multi tank syndrome starts to kick in again lol

So far so good had no problems as yet the hair grass has been growing really well with no ferts or co2 and still have no clue on what to stock with lol.
