Hello :) I just got a 10 gallon tank today. I'm going to put sand as the substrate. I was thinking of doing just 2-3 different species. I know its small so help me not get out of hand lol. I have two gouramis that i want to put in there i think.. I was thinking about getting like 4-6 corys. Any Ideas on something other than the gouramis? Or do you guys think gouramis would be nice. I'm also thinking about trying some live plants, but have no experience at all with them! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated :fun:

What kind of gouramis? Other than dwarves or honeys, none of them really fit in a ten gallon.

9 fish in a 10g even if all 1 inch is going to be pushing big time

Well I was thinking my blue and honey gouramis but now that I'm researching I'm thinking something else. I do have one dwarf gourami as well, I'm thinking something else though.. I'd like to have a lot of color, I just need help so i don't end up putting fish in a 10 gal that shouldn't be in one.. Or overstock it for that matter..
