New Tank

i just got my new tank 6 foot 160 GALLON
but still sorting it out, its on railway sleepers looks well nice
been got some sand today coral sand £16.99 wow been looking on net all night.
loads of peeps saying play sand is good and 2.49 from argos for 15 kg bag im off for some tomoz.
i was thinking maybe colored sand maybe blue, ill mix it with the coral sand i got today
the fish ive got at the moment are 5 hoplos, 4 brisslenose plecs thats it. in a 4 foot tank for the moment
so i know i will be able to get some good size fish in there any idears what i can have in there and on the play sand cheers

is coral sand not for marine tanks?

but it has probably buffered your ph anyway. so if i were u i would go for malawis, cant gt better than a big tank of malawis!!!!!!

If it were my 6ft tank I would have harlequin sharks and bumblebee catfish, pink convicts, gold severums, firemouth, jewel and rainbow cichlids

i got the playsand today and rinsed it in a big bucket wow that took ages
looks nice i mixed it with the coral sand i got cost $16.99 so i had to use that aswell
but well worth it looks good, soon as sand was in i just filled it up
and now need to wait a week or two, my other fish are well happy where they are
so let this one sort it self out, is it best to turn filters on next day to let it settle.

the tank is sat on a 6x2 wood from b&q and the foam my freind got me from work it does it job.
just cant wait to put fish in now, ive got abit of bogwood to put in when i put the fish in and im
gonna get some plants i think not sure at mo.
been looking at Malawi's they look well nice cheers gonna keep looking hope you like the pics
