hey all.

well here it is my newest addition to my collection of tanks.

its a 4 foot planted coldwater community, its got a tetratec 600 internal filter. Has a white marine tube to bring out the colours of the fish, i picked it up for £100. Quite a bargain really as it came with a gorgeous silver stand and hood. a ton of plants and some really nice root ornaments and a large stone with lots of caves in it.

i got it with 2 shubunkins, 3 goldfish and a weather loach. Today i added a comet to liven things up a bit. He settled in almost instantly, hes already swimming with the gang! :hyper:

anyway here are lotsa pics and a couple of short videos.

enjoy, all feedback is welcome!

The goldfish on the left is a Common goldfish while the one on the right is a Comet goldfish in this pic of yours below;

The one in this pic is a common goldfish;

These two both look like Comets;

I hate to say it, but these fish will outgrow your tank if its only 4ft long, comet and common goldfish are the largest two growing varieties of goldfish, but can easily grow to 15inches+, you should upgrade the tank to at least a 5x2x2ft tank (or even better a 6x2x2ft tank) in the future to help ensure that these goldfishes growth doesn't become stunted over time and that the future of their good quality of life is ensured :nod: .

yeah, he got banned from the site lol, i just borrowed his PB account lol

he he thanks tokis, i wont be upgrading yet as im not sure if i want to keep this tank as it is or change it to a discus tanl or something similiar. in the last pic You ID ed for me there is only one fish lol, its just the reflection off the glass lol.

Your fish and tank look great!

I know goldfish get big, but I have never seen one over 10 inches. They can really get to 15 inches??? That's huge!!

today i bought the last of the fish im going to put in the tank, a fairly large goldfish and a smaller one. ye i think they can get to around 12-15"

nice tank , although ikm not a fan of coldwater fish your setup looks nice

Well done

Adam
