Just thought I'd add to the forum not with anything fishy related as I'm newish

DON'T BUY A BIORB!!!!

I got one for my first tank and it was horrible, I had it for 4 months, I couldn't get rid of all the ammonia no matter how hard I tried cos the filter isn't strong enough to get rid of all the stuff!! And water changes were a nightmare because the opening is so small it goes everywhere!!!

They look fantastic, but are really not practical at all, don't waste your money.

For goldfish it simply doesnt work but for a coldwater tank it could hold a few white cloud minnows well.

hi i had a biorb but tookit back because it wanted to go tropical and the guy in the pet shop said the heaters are acrylic and can break very easily, this put me off and i exchanged it for a juwel rekord 70
Also the filters and filter media can become expensive as you need to replave them every 6 weeks
