Do you mean cycle your tank (not stabilize)? And what do you mean by "added all the stuff required"? What stuff did you add? If you are doing a fishless cycle you will know you are done when your tests show that your ammonia and nitrites have returned to zero after spiking. Yes, it can take 4-6 weeks but the best thing to do is test daily and then you'll know when your tank is ready for fish.
