I went tank shopping today and saw a 160l corner tank.

Its a jewel and the only problem is the heater filter combo,

Would this be sufficient for a brackish tank,

specifically bumblebee gobies. if so how many??

If it's a Juwel it is 190 litres & the filter would be excellent for small fish. It has reasonable flow & lots of media.
I would used different sponges to the Juwel recommendations as the carbon & nitrate sponges are best replaced with more blue sponges.
You could keep about 30+ BB gobies if you get the decor right - giving them room to stake out territories- but I'd go for a dozen or so & some sailfin mollies.
