New Tank :)

So I've just got me my new 4ft tank and am busy getting it set up to cycle it...

... ultimatly, its going to house my golden nugget pleco, and clown loach...

... What fish would go nicely with these, especially as a first fish, to put in once the cycling's complete?

clownloaches are lovely fish, how many gallons will your tank be?

I am sure clown loaches need upwards of about 70 gallons as they grow quite big and need to be kept in groups of about 3 or more.

most fish will go with the pleco I have one simliar and he very peaceful, a good community fish.

your options are endless. why not get some schooling fish like black phantom tetras or something there are pretty cool. and then get some larger fish aswell, gourramis or angels are smart.

although I am not sure how angels get on with black phantoms.

I have 3 clown loach, very quiet fish, i also have a pleco. The fish i have do not attack each other...here are my fish:

Dwarf Gourami
Red tail shark
Pleco
X2 Female fighter
X2 Cory's
Angelfish
X3 Clownloach

use to have a Siamese fighter and Swordtail,

These fish should be qiuet happy with your clownloach and pleco, not sure about other fish...

Its 18" each way...

48x18x18inch, which gives around 67gallons/250 Litres...
