Hi there
I have set my tank up as follows,
Jewel Rekord 70
TetraPlant CompleteSubstrate
Approx 30-50mm of 3mm pea shingle
4 Plants
1 Plastic Log
I filled the tank up on friday (No plants) and got the heater and pump/filter going.
Went and got a tub of filter bacteria from the shop on sat along with plants and 6 Zebra Danios.
Put bacteria in the filter, plants in and fish in on sat.
Now monday pm and water looks really clear, plants look healthy and the fish are swimming around and feeding well.
N03 - 0
N04 - 0
GH - 8od
KH - 3od
PH - 7.4
NH4 - just between 0.5mg/l and 1.0 mg/l
I have just acouple of begginer type questions........
When should i do my first water change ?
How often should I feed the fish ?
Will i need to add co2 for the plants ?
Would like a pump and air curtain, is this a good idea ?
