I am looking to introduce plants into my tank, i have done this before but with this new tank i was wondering the best way to starting a properly planted tank? could someone please send me instructions and plant names, i plan on keeping quite aggressive fish so i need hardy plants please
i will post a picture of my tank upon response.

You wanna look for things Echinodorus, Anubias, Microsorum species really then, low maintenance and easy to grow. What is the volume of your tank and what wattage of lighting do yo have? Also do you know if the tubes are T8 or T5?

my light is a aqua one model AL_20, voltage -230 -240V-/50Hz and its 20W
My tank i think is 3ft im not sure as i purchased it two days ago
Tank pics ( also any suggestions as to how to arrange plants would be apreciated)

How many litres is your tank mate then we'll get started? If not sure just the glass measurements will be fine.

Well you have very very low lighting, you could run 2 of those tubes and still be in low lighting category not needing CO2 or ferts depending on your stocking ideas. There is quite a few species you can use in this set up, Crypts, Swords, Anubias, Ferns, various mosses and a few others. Have a look on the Tropica website, it has a huge plant list and gives the recommendations for growing each plant, once you have what you want in mind, let us know and we'll help you out with the planting and positioning. :)
