New TANK HUGE MESS

today i bought a 29 gallon tank. I set it up and decided to use a garden hose. Brough it inside the house set it in the tank, and went outside to turn it on. I turned it on and came inside and the hose slipped out and was spraying all over my carpet!!!!! there was over an inch of water over the carpet. i had cd's laying on the carpet and they were floating under neith my bed! it was bad .. but i got everything under control and my tank is now cycleing
whew what a day!

theres a lesson for you kiddies.

if your going to use a hose, make sure you have a connector with a trigger. or use a bucket. with such a small tank its not that bad.

One time I was syphoning water out of my tank. All of a sudden I hear water trickling and my feet get really wet..... I wasn't paying attention to how full the bucket was

Wait a second: bbg... are you really keeping all of those fish in a ten gallon? How did you physically fit them in there? Even the 29 gallon would be a tight squeeze for 2 bala sharks and all of those other fish.
