HI! i need advise on fish. :dunno: I have a 10 gallon tank and i want to put guppies and tetras in there. I was wanting to know what species of tetras go best with guppies? As well what is a good number combination. I was thinking 2 male guppies with 3 neons and 3 glowlights. Also i dont want to stock it completly at first so would it be best to get only 1 male guppy and 3 neon tetras to start. Thanks for the help. :)

Tetra's are better in groups of 4+.

Neons are ok I think, and glowlights seem ok to.

I have to say seems alot of non hardy fish, to put in all at once.

Has your tank cycled?

I thought that those fish were hardy. Most sites i been to said that they were. i am not sure if my tank is completly cycled yet. It has been running for almost a week and I am been using gravel from my old tank to help it along. My testing kit has been wreaked and i have not been able to purchase a new one yet. I have been considering purchasing "cycle" to help it get done faster but i think that it is close to the end..

Neon tetras are peaceful fish but are not hardy. When I had water quality problems the neons died second, after the khulie loaches. Neons are not recommended to start a tank. I don't know about other tetras.
