New Tank - 180l

Evening. Thought I'd share a few piccies of my new tank.

Bought a Fluval Vicenza 180 at the weekend after much umming and aahing, have to say after setting up (minus fish stock) I love it. So so pleased with it.

I'm off to buy some ammonia at the weekend to start a fishless cycle off. It's currently being inhabited by my Betta as the filter in his tank just packed up and it's due a big change water change. Feeling a bit guilty at the moment as Odysseus (The Betta) is having an absolute riot in his holiday home.

Planning on stocking this with Red Line Torpedo Barbs as a center piece fish, with some Otos, Panda Dwarf Cichlids, and some shoaling Tetras (Some Harlequin Rasboras and possibly some black Neons or Cardinals....not too sure on that one yet).

Anyhoo...enough of the rubbish here are some pics of the tank...

Thanks! I'm really pleased with how it's looking.

Not sure the Betta will want to go back to his own tank now though...

Really nice tank and great decs! It looks like you have the same backing as my father-in-law. Just be careful scrapping any algea off it, my father-in-law rubbed it too hard and scrapped the backing instead of the algea!
