Is it dead? Thats how my fishy looked like when it died. Except its skin had this layer of white stuff on it.

Looks good, talking cats often have this white eye look im not sure why.

I think it said something about the water hardness that affected their eyes.

What species is it? I'm not great at ID-ing cats, but I'm sure that it's not a platydoras costatus (the common talking cat), and possibly a megalodoras irwini.

Like I say, worth getting an expert to check it though.

he's almost five year old, according to the previous owner, who got him from a private breeder. you should have seen the size of the tinfoil barb that he was being kept with!!! he is currently about 5.5 inches!!!

Thats not bad, they are like clown loaches very long lived so take a long while to grow.I once seen a striped talking cat that was about 10" and really fat.

i'm gonna go get an get a striped one!

one of the tail and one with my female convict posing wth him!!!!

Looks like a tiger nerite to me. They are good snails as they wont reproduce in your tank and they eat algae. Mine spends alot of time out of water making alot of noise the little bugger.
