Whilst glancing over to our Main Tank I was sure that I spotted a white-orange speckle and then a few of my fish (Angels, GlassCats and Tetras darting about)
I figured it was one of LyreTail Swords starting to release her batch of fry. >It looked like a Rummy-Nose Tetra snatched the wee one as I dashed to get the net and attempt to put the mother in my Nursery tank.

I placed a floating trap in my 30" Nursery (which had 18 two-week old fry in) and this morning I found around 20 new fry in a gang near the gravel.....They look about a third of the size of the others and so much paler! The mother was moved in the knick of time it seems, with only one night in the floating trap. Result.

Its great to be able to see how much the original batch have grown in just over two weeks.!

Once they grow to an inch, the Lfs will take them for Credit exchange>

I'm Off to get some more 'Liquifry' and crush the flake up.

Congrats rossyt99. Its always nice to get a new batch of fry if you have the room for them.

Ive always got guppy fry and they get annoying after a while.
Ive also got Red-wag x Sunset Platy fry and Kribensis fry. I have recently reared Endler x Guppy and the fry look beautiful.
I have 9 Endler x Guppies and 2 Red-Wag x Sunset, 22 Pure guppies and 5 Krib fry.
Not as easy as it looks to look after them all lol

MarniiBabii, that is why I said if you have room. I happen to have some at the moment so am enthusiastic about new fry. As everything fills up I will need to decide what to pass along and what to keep.
