New Stock At Last

Well i've finaly got my stock

Ended up getting;

3 female convicts - originaly got a male by accident, but once i'd noticed i took him back and they happily swapped. Their real small, and the tank looks huge for them...but should fatten up nicely

1 RTBS - also quite small, but he looks real nice

1 Plec - Not sure what type of plec as i forgot what he said, he's about 4 1/2 inches at the moment, and the guy said he'll probably grow around an inch more. Looks real beautifull. Got an amazing spotted patern to him.

Also grabbed another plant to put in there. The sharks had a bit of tubiflex tonight, but the convicts were still too busy exploring their new home to realise the food. I'll get some pictures up here sometime tomorrow

yeah i was planning on getting some barbs, but decided to get them in a week or two, just to make sure i didnt 'overstock' my filter.

Saw some beautifull Odessa Barbs that i rekon i might get.

i was reading a topic in here, and i was on nights last night, then got a few hours sleep before getting the new fish, so im pretty tired and must have forgotten where i was. Normaly i have to be drunk for that

Did you fishless cycle? You can stock to near capacity if you did as the filter has been cycled to take a heavy load.

I have 7 Odessas, they are a nice fish, some people say they are a hybrid but I read somewhere they have been located in the wild and have apparantly proved they are a distinct barb.

i put some mature media in there and put 4 goldfish in to provide a constant ammonia source as i was away with work for 4 weeks. I also wasnt too sure what to get, so thought id wait till i knew
