Me too, I've always wanted a little shoal of them. Pics would be very good

so heres what they look like. sry its only one of them but they all look the same. theyre sorta dull looking to someone not in the hobby but they really are little "jewels". im hoping to have them pair off but have no idea about what to look for.

the tank is a 5 gallon bowfront with the biowheel it came with and an art deco external.temp is 78 degrees, and theres no lid with about 2.8 wpg of lighting. plants are cabomba(sp), small swords, java fern, a few small valls, and a crypto. theres .75 inchs of flourite ontop of a thin layer of gravel, half inch or so. there are ghost shrimp in there with them now...im planning on 3 otos and amanos later.

Hi there

Well you are lucky. I have never seen any for sale near me. Your tanks look good. If you are hoping they pair off there is some information in this link that might help

Good luck

You're welcome.

So I hear these little gourami's make a croaking noise, have you heard them?

i havent heard them croaking...i have 6 tanks running in my bedroom so the noise from the big penguin 350 will overtake any croaking noises. ive forgoten how gouramis are as pets...theyre very interesting to watch
