New Set Up

Hi, I will be setting up a new tank very soon... It will be a Juwel Vision 180l (50 US G) with a pressurised C02 kit and about 2WPG.

How many plants will I need to combat algee and can anyone suggest good start up plants?

Hundreds, and I mean hundreds. Have you read the pinned estimative index article?

The more plants the better. Get lots of cheap fast growing stems in the tank (cover at least 75% of the substrate) then gradually replace these over the next few months with the plants you want.
