Oh right, I would of thought it would grow back to some extent.

she's a flower ray, colours are coming through much better now even though I only took pics this morning, i'll give it few more days then do more pics.

to get the full stunning color of tiger and flower rays they are best kept on a dark sand or gravel

how much was she peir have had one for sale for ages for £125 but were having trouble getting her on to dead food

how she feeding i have always fancyed a flower ray but they get massive even bigger than motoro probably around 30inch disk

Have to say I'm tempted to use black sand but the CaribSea stuf is quite sharp IIRC.

I paid £175 for her but she is eatoing bloodworm and peeled prawns straight away without a problem.

thats a good price for a ray thats feeding well on dead food

if you are keeping her with the motoros just make sure she is getting enought food as the motoro are far more agressive feeders

i have always had a soft spot for flower rays

She's still touch on the skinny side but i think it's almost to be expected when it's quite new from the exporters. Yer well awere of motoro's feeding, there greedy lil buggers, so at the moment she's in a 40x30 until shes uo to weight and bit faster onto the food. In a few days she can upgrade to a 40x30 as the motoro's have a 4x3 to move into.

cant wait until the markings come out properly, she's darkening around the edges now.
