I ended up with C. gachua as i couldnt find any C. bleheri for ages, but i finally found one :)

They are better coloured than C. gachua, I cant coment on how active they are as my C. gachua were mucher bigger and older than the new C. bleheri.

Fabulous fish, which is now on its own in a 20gal as the dat and the oscars were picking on it.
I may put the corys in there for company, or might setup a 15gallon again, as my 15gall setups have better fitting hoods.

Thanks, he has come out a lot golder in colour then he actually is. I hope he does well, I've been after one for so long.

I just need to decide what fish to sell and which fish to move to what tanks now to make room for him when he is bigger.

What dort of growth rate should i expect to see from him, I know the oscars in the tank will soon be monstrous in comparision.

Don't know alot about dats, but I do know they are one SLOW growing fish. Someone on another forum had a 2" indo dat and with good feeding grew to twice its size in a year and a half...

lol, I know they grow slowly, but thats not too slow, my synodontis ocefilier hasn't really grown much in the two years I've had it, maybe an inch if that.

well by the time its big enough for the 120gal I will prob have a bigger tank anyway :hyper:

i like that white color :good:

does it have the same y stripe patern on the other side ?

no the other side is solid bars, I've not seen them that white before, saying that ive only seen D. campbelli in person and two of the silvers, cant remember their names. I'm going off images

if it stays that white color its only IT that have it and its hard to keep that stable
