My friend has gone back to Siberia, and he couldn't take the fish with him.
(they don't like the cold aparrently)

I offered to take them off his hands because my Dad used to keep tropical fish, and I was always facinated. The move went well, and their environment is balanced and oxygenated. They had a dose of complete water treatment, an antiseptic, and the water is being treated daily to break down nitrates. Treatments will continue as and when required.

I think I've got all of it covered, but if I'm missing anything, I'd love to know.

I'm a bit concerned about some of the fish. My Phantom Red Tetra's are looking more translucent than when I first got them. The Cardinals seem to have lost some of their brightness, and the Albino Catfish is doing somersaults.

This site is invaluable.

Okay, is this a "new" tank? When I say new, I mean brand new water. You said they moved. Was the tank emptied?

What are your water readins? Ph, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, and Temp.
