New Plants (StarOrbs)

I got some new plants today I decided to get them today while cycling so I have something live in it. There are some swords, java fern (which is in the substrate till I get a rock), wisteria, and hornwort.

well live plants need co2 systems and artificial plants are like a 2$ each at my LFs I like both. Nice plants Starorbs. Are u putting any fish in their?

Yes, lol.. Eventually I'm fishless cycling right now so I got another week or so I would say until I get the fish.

Such a lovely tank, many happy fish are going in there i can tell. I'll have to agree that live plants bring out the natural underwater feel perfectly.

Thanks, the tank will have 2 blue rams, (5 honey gouramis or 2 pearl gouramis), 3 platies, and 6-7 tetras. I was going to have cories but then rams are supposedly territorial so I choose the rams.. Although I'm not sure yet if I'm going to get the rams or the cories so we'll see.

acually ive heard of alot of people saying that co2 is a waste of time and money... they have succusful plants in like 125 gallon tanks... just need lotsa light

Hey! I have fake plants and they look just as good as real ones, they even look real

Your tank looks very good so far can't wait to see it with fish in it

That's not always true , I have many thriving live plants ,in many tanks , the only co2 systems I have are respiring fish .

Some plants may require extra co2 injected in some way , but not all .
Starorbs java ferns will do just great without it .

Yah I can't wait to get some fish, I just haven't decided on a theme for the tank yet, i.e. decorations.. I could do a roman them, coral theme, I realy don't know I've been waiting till I get closer to getting the fish. I suppose for now I got just get some slate rocks and make a cave.
