I recently moved my planted tank from another floor and started from scratch again using the same plants. I have various swords, Anubias, Crypts and Hygophilias. I added flourite to the gravel and increased my lighting to 2.2 watts a gallon. I'm also injecting C02. Is it normal for plants to look a little weak and pale in the beginning? One of my Crypts melted, but it should grow back. All the plants were doing fairly well before I made the move and I had low lighting (0.5 watt a gal). I'm assuming the plants need time to adjust. Is there anything I can do to help them along?

Thanks

Crypts are known for melt especially when you move them, i would say just keep your fert routine up as normal and i am sure your plants will bounce back to the way they looked before.

I've had Crypts melt before, but they always grow back. I guess there isn't much going on in my substrate right now. I need to get some mulm happening again. I'll have to be patient.
