New plant...

Hi there...

I know this a question thats been asked a hundred times already so dont yell at me! ...Anyways I've been meaning to do this ....but i saw this post by Nexstar ( sorry for usin ur pic just looks so good )...and i want to add somin like this...i have a gravel substrate and about 2.5 watts per gal...(my 65)...anyways i just want some names and some general info...again thnx for helpin a newb with plants...

The plant that you've boxed is called glossostigma. It's a very demanding carpet plant. To have lush carpet growth it requires high light and CO2. I'm not sure if 2.5 will be high enough.

At 2.5 W/G, you could use pygmy chain sword to get a similar look, it is currently spreading like crazy in my tank at 1.8 W/G.

I have glossostigma in my tank (see pic in sig). Very nice looking plant.
