I think you should leave it with just the 3 plants.

It should be ok - I made sure that there are no sand between the base rocks and the egg crater at the bottom. I tried many different configuration to make sure the overall structure is solid... These are also VERY heavy rocks!

I really do hope they don't crumble them down!

As for plants, they were supposed to be temporary as this tank receives more light than all of my other tanks... But I may keep them there!
