Oh... Wow!

Faaaabulous shots!!! :hyper: I am so envious!!!

What kind of equipment and ferts are you using? How long have they been set up for?

Abso-bloody-brilliant!

I live in Watford. What a lovely kittle town it is

You only use 2 of those nutrafin kits *faints* and people say those kits never do the job... You've proved them oh so wrong!

I didn't realise that other thread exsisted. It's so great to read about other peoples tanks indepth like that... Puts all sorts of wonderful ideas in my head.

yeah that was the idea of it. it's great to post pics and great to get the "wow great tank, wish i could do that" etc... kind of replies but with this pinned thread you can literally copy a set up and know you have the hardwear right.

all it takes then is to get your head around the ferts and pruning.

planted tanks are easy once you know what your doing the hard part is getting to that stage. (stupid comment but i'm sure you know what i mean)

as to the nutrafin kits one kit will do 20G. the 180 is 40G so just on the limit. i do have to change the mix every weekend though to keep co2 at 30ppm.

i've also got a diy kit on my 50G cube tank. a 5ltr ribena bottle leading to an airstone stuck into the bottom of my external filter input. that also gives me 30ppm for about a week without any trouble. i cant understand how people have trouble with co2. i have to be careful i dont get too much, 50-60ppm in my rekord 60 isn't uncommon (with 1 nutrafin kit). i've recently reduced my yeast to prevent it going that high again.
