im probably gonna have to buy a heater, as it does get cold down here in the winter... The cichlids may survive, but I dont think the oscars will.

thought anymore about them bala sharks i would get 3-5 if i was you they will be a nice addition imo

Pssst oscars are cichlids! i would imagine they can take temps lower than the convicts, whats it at at the moment?

at the end of the pond is the skimmer, and the water goes down the skimmer with 2 big filtration pads and through a pipe up into the water fall with 3 more pads and lava rock to collect benficial bacteria..... That is the filtration.

Yeah I think I might get 4-5 of them or 4-5 other big schooling fish.... Anyone got any ideas??

i would get bala sharks they are lovely and your pond would be ideal for them
i suppose another option would be red line torpedo barbs

im coming to the conclusion of getting about 6 bala sharks, and some tinfoil barbs.

Well the pond is set up, and I am going to pick my oscars up this weekend so I will post some pics then...
