its looks like a stretched guppy with a beak they look really cool my lfs have these too

they are great to watch, they have some personality. I didn't fancy a Panchax, so went with these. They do like a strong current though.

are these not Kilifish then? So much for my research!

i was told they were Kilis, i also don't trust i got a male and female now? can any sex these from the pics?

The smaller of the 2 are more colourful (the last photo)

These are livebearers and very interesting fish.

The bottom pic is a male and the other is a female. Breeding is not easy but if you can feed them up with plenty of live foods like small worms, fly's, glass worm etc etc then breeding is possible.
The fry are very large, mature females can produce fry nearly an inch long but 10-15mm is average.

thanks Helterskelter, i did research, and the LFS told me they were Kili's earlier in the week and google halfbeak kilifish and it does come up with stuff. They are still great fish, very interesting to watch, espesially when they flair, they look just like ducks.

Very Interesting fish and fun to keep. I used to feed mine mealworms
