New Nicaraguan Cichlid

Picked up this beautiful lady yesterday from star4, fingers crossed she doesnt turn out to be as aggressive as my last Nic

Noice! have to say though, she looks identical to mine. She even has the lumpy head thing or is that normal?

She is the quieter of the two, but I guess new home, new tankmates fingers crossed she is a good girl for you.

Wills I think the bump is normal, the other one of mine has it too, although she has actually banged her head at the moment.

I really have got to get a camera!

Dont think its normal, I think she had a run in with another fish and this is how its healed. Dont remember my other one having it, but then she wasnt normal.

She's quietened down since this morning, where she was chasing everything that came near her, now she is more relaxed and used to all the fish.

Ah well mine is Lumpy as well lols How big is she at the moment? Looks around the 3 inch mark

Yep bout 3 - 3.5", maybe it is normal, I just assumed a bump of some sort, the last two I had didnt have them, this is a pic of my previous female (nasty piece of work she was)

Ah I see she still has a bit of a divit if you look side on though not much. Could it be a sign of dominance almost like a female nuchal hump? So like when the heads are more rounded they are wore but when its domed in more passive? Or am I talking nonsense?
