New Lights And Reflectors

my new lights and reflectors arrived today and within 30 mins one of my plants started to perl
ok its only one plant out of the many in my tank,but i have never had this happen before,so it seems my tank had been lacking decent lighting for a long time

whats the specs on your tank? i've never had any of my plants pearl

specs on my tank are as follows,pressurised c02 30ppm,1x30w grolux lamp,1x30w arcadia original tropical lamp,juwel reflectors,sand substrate,tropica root tabs,topica plant nutrition+ which i add evry water change as recommended on the bottle,its a rio 180 tank,and will now be looking more seriously
into e i dosing

Its still low light so you can get away with the tropica+ on its own as per George's tank (link below.) Almost the same setup as his now. lol. Saves on having to mix powders and the 50% water changes.

SuperColey1 m8,i got the juwel reflectors because i knew for sure they would fit my hood lol,as i tend to buy the wrong things 90% of the time,i think i will go the ei route tho,when you consider the cost of tropica+ the ei method will in the long run work out a lot a cheaper,but ill slightly reduce the amount i add daily.only problem im having is green algae on the sand,it is easay to remove with a gravel vac,but it reapears after a few days,but i hope that now my plants are getting all the nutrients they need then they should start to out compete the algae.anyway thanks for all your advice
