New Lighting, These Any Good?

T5's are just another format of flourescent bulbs.  The bigger ones that you usually see in longer fixtures in hallways and warehouses and stuff are usually T8s.

From what I understand, T5s are nice because you can pack in more light in smaller space because in recent decades High Output and High Efficiency T5 bulbs have been made.

What you posted looks like some T5 High Output set up.

LEDs are nice because they have a long life, and don't use very much energy.  Such are the advantages of semiconductor technology.

So they will do the job for a cichlid tank? Or would you recommend others?
I've got a fluval vicenza 260, it's 4ft long (120cm)

Question??? Would LEDs provide the light needed for plants that t5s give?????

Not sure but I have 0 plants so I just want some white light for day and then blue to be able to watch them at night

Anyone know why one is £70 and one is £150??
