hi matt

2 hours is nothing, it can take upto 1-2 weeks for some individuals to settle in properly,

what setup do you have them in?
i.e. size, tankmates, etc.

Also just to check there really isn't an issue, do you have any water stats at hand or can you test the water?

ph 7.5 (they've come from 6.8), sand substrate, i know the hardness is round about middling lol

they are with:
3 cories
11 neon tetras
5 rosy tetras
4 platies
1 ancistrus

tank size 80 cm long, 35 cm deep and 45 cm tall (112 liters)

thoughts?

no nitrate, nitrite, ammonia levels ?
how long has the tank been set up for?

just over 2 months, i havent got those to hand and i cant remember the stats from wen my friend tested it 2 weeks ago

but i remember him saying that the levels were "fine" lol

all the fish in the tank seem active, including the kribs, but the kribs are just faded

ok, chances are then that they're just still settling in,

I would leave the light off for the rest of the day, this will give the kribs more confidence to explore the tank and hopefully should be more settled by tomorrow, although as i said above sometimes it can take a number of days or even weeks before their full colour returns
