A very nice tank you got for your jag. Dont expect it to stay that way when he gets older Lol. They love to dig around and take there anger out on things.

Make sure you get him feeding on pellets otherwise he will become expensive to feed. Of course pellets shouldnt be his only means of food. Supplement with prawn, krill, earthworms, mealworms etc etc ..

Good luck,

Joel

:D thanks Joel..have heard they like to uproot things!!..looks good for now though..tried him on some cichlid pellets today he wouldn't touch them..he has taken bloodworm, catfish pellets and some flake though..

cichlids can be very stubborn. Dont be afraid to let him 'starve' for 3 days or so. He will soon learn. If he gets hooked on that bloodworm you could have troubles Lol.

:D will offer it sparingly then..lol..I don't think he is being fussy or stubborn, just settling in..only had him a couple of days and he was in a tiny tank in the shop so may take him a while to settle in.
