nah the bolts and wing nuts are both steel, can't remember if stainless or not, bought them a while ago!!

Pond will be ready tomorrow for fish Gankut, just depends what time I have.

ooo found code on packet.. from the site i bought from... "High Tensile Hexagon Setscrews Full Thread Bright Zinc Plate DIN 933" wing nuts are the same.

wont they rust and snap ?

i have always thought brass and ally were safe but im not to good with metal work to tell the truth

tbh Richard I don't have a clue! Once the water clears and I can see what I'm doing I'll coat them in Adheseal so rusting won't be a problem anyways.

steel rusts stainless or not, alloy dosent, but as long as you have head of the screw and the nut and shank of the screw coated with a decent sealant it should be ok. Great lookin setup good to have more than just the overhead veiw. :good:
 
Yep, shut it down just before christmas after selling the last couple of fish in there.

The pond may be started up again in the future as a grow on tank for Electra, my smaller electric eel.
