Hi! I'm new here (not new to fish keeping though I wouldn't call myself experienced). I have a turtle and 2 danios for now, hopefully more coming soon once I get my new tank set up but I have to be careful to avoid fish that my monster may eat. :D

Hi welcome to the forum :) I have 2 Mississippi map turtles in my 40 gallon tank (around 150 litres). They are still very small and so cute :) what turtles is it that you have?

My other tank is 125 gallons (450 litres) and has a 5 inch Ornate bichir and a 3 inch or so Lima shovelnose catfish.

You will soon notice that this forum is full of experienced and very knowledgeable members that will be more than happy to help with any questions you may have. They have helped me out with numerous questions.

1 thing I will say is I didn't realise you could keep and sort of fish with turtles. Turtles are meant to be able to attack fish with ease... I may be wrong. Maybe someone here can give you a definite answer

I've had these together since I got the turtle. She's a spiny soft shell, I will post pictures (when I figure out how). She doesn't go after the danios because they are fairly large.. maybe 3 inches? She's quite small still around 4 inches. Plus the danios seem very smart about getting away from her :good: and I have lots of plants and hiding spots for them.

You should be fine :)

I use photobucket to upload pics. I have the app on my iPhone. All you do is upload the pics to that then copy the img code off photobucket then and paste on here :)

Photobucket is the easiest way for sure. I'd love to see your turtle.

Welcome to the forum!!
