Hello I am martyn kept tropical fish many years ago wanted to start again so I have just got a beast of a tank now in need of help it's a marine set up and I want to use it for tropical it has a sump tank I need to plumb it for tropical holes in base of tank to sump .
I have tropical lights above tank no lid do I need to replace these with hood and white light lits of help needed please many thanks in advance

What are "tropical lights"?
I wouldn't do a pure white light but instead one of those plant lights
