New Guppies Now Found Dead, Zebra Danio Has Died As Well

Any small bits of debris floating in the tank water.
Do you run filter floss or matting in the filter.
Is the water crystal clear.

Noticed any more symtoms of parasites I left.

No, the filter cleared the water in about an hour. Water is clear.
I guess the filter has 'matting' but not sure. It's the standard sponges for the Fluval U3.
I can't see any other physical signs, and I was staring at both fish for a good 5mins to see anything. Therefore maybe 'normal' but I had not seen it before over the last 3 months.

Ok.
Keep a close eye on the fish if they carry on flicking get back to the board.

Another guppy on the way out. Seems that the two larger ones have been having a go at the two smaller ones. One of them seems to have had enough and is laying on a leaf in the corner. Expecting a death by morning sadly as this is the exact same behavior as the first two showed.

Tank stats are still fine.

So no other symtoms apart from flicking and rubbing.
Any fish look on the thin side.
What does it look like when the fish go to the toilet.

haven't seen any more flicking or rubbing.

Watching them closely it seems like bullying. I have 2 different colours of guppies, 2 of the same colour are smaller than the other two. One is hiding, and the Gourami has a go whenever he ventures out. The other seems to be picked on by the other two but is holding his own. His colour has washed out twice today though, but he is still active around the tank. Both are a bit skinny compared to the two of the other colour. No sign of strange stools.

Stress will weaken the fish immune system.

Being thin can be old age, fish isn't eating or being fed enough, internal parasites fish tb, external parasites.

What does there waste look like.

waste looks fine on the one I can see, cant tell on the one that is hiding.

One that is in view is clearly still being chased by the two larger guppies. Going to post in the livebearers forum to see if this is normal........maybe they are frustrated by the absence of females???

Sometimes gourami and gupppys get along, sometimes they don't,

I did notice that when the 'hidden' one popped out for a minute, the gourami was straight over to him. Haven't caught him doing that with the other three though. Maybe he's just taken a dislike to the one.

You will have to rehome the guppy then or the gourami.
Some fish just don't get along and the stress will only weaken there immune system resulting in ill health.

I seperated the guppy into a 3 gallon bucket I use for water changes (with a few fake plants for comfort) as I dont have a spare tank. Wanted to see if he would perk up or eat without being hassled. Sadly he only lasted a day.

I can still spot the gourami chasing the others occasionally, but they seem to put up with it. Obviously their cousin had a more nervous disposition.

I think adding them AFTER the gourami didnt help, as he probably thinks the tank is his territory.

R.I.P.

If you move fish they really need a filter and heater.
Its always a good idear to have an issolation tank.

Yeah I know, not ideal but the room temp was 21c and the tank was 24c and I used tank water to fill the bucket. Poor little fella was cowering under a leaf in the tank, had to try something.

Bless him.
Good luck with the rest of the fish.
