HEy guys, I need help decided how to go forward.

I bought some new guppies a few weeks ago and the Rummynose tetras that I bought with them got so stressed in the shipment that most died. The remaining ones got ich right away. I never saw a spot on the guppys, Rams, or cories in the tank with them. I treated the ich for 9 days {4 1/2 days after the last spot}

Well, the guppys are flashing today...ALOT. Repeatedly on the sand. NOt just in the way they would if they were itchy. Now I am worried about how to handle it. THe rummynoses, cories, and Rams are fine. {The rams have actually spawned and have wrigglers}

I thought about throwing the 4 guppies in my qt {I have guppies in my qt already that came from the lfs "also flashing" I can't seem to buy a healthy fish.

I can treat the qt tank with salt and heat but not the main tank because there are cories and khuli loaches.

Salt will help anything detach from their gills right? If there are no symptoms in the main tank I just wonder if moving them is a good idea. There are no spots to be seen.

Have you double checked water readings? The flashing might be an ammonia spike.

Have you changed dechlorinators or the amount you dose? This could cause flashing.

Are the guppies being attacked by any tankmates?

You will need to treat both tanks if is is Ich, but at least seperating fry/scaleless fish/corydoras from the others means you can tackle the other tank full strength and choose the salt route.

Water stats are good. The main tank has been kept exceptionally clean because of the rams spawn. I use seachem prime only. the ram fry will go free swimming tomorrow and I have a tank for them ready....once I move them I could treat both tanks...one with salt the other with Rid ich.

It just bothers me that there are no spots anywhere. I treated the ich for the 4 extra days and that was a few weeks ago.

Theres no one that could attack the guppies. The Bolivians are not as aggresive as some cichlids... The only other fish are cories, khuli loaches, rummynoses, and 3otos the tank is still very understocked at that.

I did a few extra ammonia tests to rule out user error. All stats are fine. :/
