I'm in Planted School.
HEy guys, I need help decided how to go forward.
I bought some new guppies a few weeks ago and the Rummynose tetras that I bought with them got so stressed in the shipment that most died. The remaining ones got ich right away. I never saw a spot on the guppys, Rams, or cories in the tank with them. I treated the ich for 9 days {4 1/2 days after the last spot}
Well, the guppys are flashing today...ALOT. Repeatedly on the sand. NOt just in the way they would if they were itchy. Now I am worried about how to handle it. THe rummynoses, cories, and Rams are fine. {The rams have actually spawned and have wrigglers}
I thought about throwing the 4 guppies in my qt {I have guppies in my qt already that came from the lfs "also flashing" I can't seem to buy a healthy fish.
I can treat the qt tank with salt and heat but not the main tank because there are cories and khuli loaches.
Salt will help anything detach from their gills right? If there are no symptoms in the main tank I just wonder if moving them is a good idea. There are no spots to be seen.
