New guppies coming in

I ended up choosing 2 pairs of these for my last shrimp tank... I was going to go with albino, as that tank has a black sand bottom, but after wrestling with it for a month, I ended up choosing a few pairs of these...

I'm a fan of the swordtail / lyretail strains. I find them healthier, more stylish and livelier than the strains with massive caudals. I think you will enjoy them.

mine are listed as "Japan Blue Gold Double Swordtail Guppy" from the seller, so I'm not sure if Japan blue is a color, or if these are a Japanese strain???

these are listed as yellow lace glass belly guppies...

you can see all the babies eyes, in momma's belly... similar to what the OP is getting???

That sounds right to me based on the photo. Japan blue is a strain--that originated in Japan-- of which this is the recessive gold morph. The 'normal' or dominant form is iridescent blue where yours are golden yellow.

So I recently ordered some glass belly guppies from fish4ever aquatics does anyone have any reviews or thing I should know
I don't know this seller to give a proper answer...
Never heard of them . Are they a particular color strain ?
This is an existing doublesword breeding form.
Glass belly guppies are missing color cells (chromatophores) in the belly area. This means that the skin will be translucent. Which will be more clear in females in comparison to males. Glass belly variaties come in several base colors.

Actually, these are blond based. But when they develop further, the blonde becomes more intense which looks like gold. Japan blue itself is derived from the Japan blue short tailed wild guppies found in Japan. It concerns a feral wild strain which have evolved over decades in males with a sky blue second color. The commercial trade has called these "endlers" while they're actually no endlers at all. But the Japan blue gene turned out to be a dominant gene which is generally Y-linked. But from time to time, you'll find a female that carries the gene dominantly. Such females that carry this gene dominantly, will show a blue shine in fins, caudal penducle or on the saddle. Clear Japan blue (so, only showing the grey base color) females will carry the Japan blue gene recessively.
Because of the fact that Japan blue is dominant over a lot of colors in males, the opportunity was given to intergrate Japan blue in other breeding forms.
And again, Japan blue itself is a socalled second color. Meaning that Japan blue will develop later on on a grey or blond base color.

Given that any seller can apply any name to a colour morph of guppies perhaps there needs to be a 'standard' for names - of course even if there was a standard it is not clear that much could be done to make sellers follow such.... oh well.
