New Gouramis Has Pink Mark On Side

hi im new to all this and just set up a new tank over a week ago and introduced 2 gold gouramis think male and female and just noticed my male one hasnt moved from top of tank for over an hour and has a pink mark on its side beside fin can anyone help

Can u get a pic as this sounds like an ulcer or perhaps a scrape which may be infected, If it is then you need to get some medication to help to fix this.

Melifix is a natural remedy. Or perhaps protozin is a good treatment.

But it still could be nothing. Thats why a pic would be good. (use macro mode if u have it)
Dose it look infected, raised scales, score.

Ok well do a good water change and get some medication and this will help.

The water change will help to reduce any toxins in the water like ammonia, nitrites and nitrates which dont help if their any in the water.
