I just bought a new gourami, I have five platies, a peppered cory, one molly and one black skirted tetra.
He's a dwarf gourami with the orange, silver and red colouring.
Now I just had a black skirted tetra die (he was the one with the mouth problem possible broken jaw). And I intend to buy more tetras to be with him but the LFS didn't have any. Now my lone tetra seems to be hanging pretty close to the gourami. He doesn't bunt him or anything, just is beside him, follows him all the time. It really looks like he's kinda saying 'here I am, don't forget I am here!'
Is this a good thing, could it be better if I buy more tetras then would he calm down? Or could it get worse, is he stating his territory and not happy.
Thanks for any help.
