New Girls

Went to a couple of fish stores to get some plants for my PK's tank as it was looking rather dim with plastic plants lol.
While i was in one i noticed they had female bettas for sale this is the first time i had seen these for sale in this particular shop so went and had a nosey straight away three came storming to the front and watched what i was doing asked the girl working there how much and she said "three for a fiver" so now i have three little girls swimming in my community tank loving it lol.
The also had a pure white male VT for sale are white bettas rare as i dont really see them very often around here see loads of blues, reds, cream, orange acd cambodian but no whites
I believe they are VT's but once they stay still i will get picks up they all are a dark reddy brown colour although one seems lighter but there rays are very noticeable on there fins even when they arent flaring like my PK's which will be interesting lol.
Just a quick question as im looking to breed them what will the fry be if they are VT girls and i breed them with my PK ?

ooohhhhh, go back and get the white male! I love white fish - not albino, actually white. They are amazing!

Hooray for gettin the gals! I love em! Even with their bitchiness! And as for right now, I honestly think 3 is a good number...others might tell you otherwise though. I had five in a 10g and it was a mess...now I am back to three and my girls (for the most part) are nice to each other...infact, I think they actually enjoy each other's company

Lol thanks little_mermaid yep they are very feisty watched them at feeding time this morning and have noticed the smallest one is top betta she chases the other two larger girls around a bit but there has been no fights and no missing bits of tail to either them or the guppies they live with lol.
Found out they all LOOOOOVE bloodworm with a passion and they wont let any of the other fish near any bits they find lol which is funny especially when my large male BN decides he wants some lol.
