Having supplied my LFS withbaby Channa Bleheri on numerous occasions, I have this great little thing going where I am always being offered free fish from them. It could be sick fish, unwanted returns, or simply unsold or over ordered fish.
Well I got the call again. this is what I got!
1x Datnoids Campbelli (an over order)
1x Polypterus Delhezi (Patternless, and had been attacked badly by a huge Flowerhorn and is in a bad way, but will heal up nicely)
1x Polypterus Lapradei "Shortbody" (was the only SB in the tank of about 50, so he said I could have it!)
Not bad for free!
I normally turn down most of the stuff I get offered due to space, but the Dat can go in with my other Dats, The Delhezi is in a state, but I couldn't bare to see it left there, so it had to come home with me.
As for the Lapradei, it will eventually go with my other full body Laps, but I have wanted a SB Lap for sometime now, so thats a bargain!
